I have been ordering this protein for over 10 years and never had a bad batch. It tastes good and value for money. Sturdy packaging, dissolves easy, not very think unlike some. I always mix with almond milk to keep the kcal down. Always sealed to make sure it’s safe. Have a struggle finding the scooper sometimes so I always use my previous one to save me digging!

    I have been using Gold Standard Whey for almost 10 years now, and the extreme milk chocolate flavour is definitely one of my favourites. It has a really good chocolate taste, kind of like chocolate milk and I’ve always found this brand trustworthy, so I’ve stuck with it. While it’s not my main protein these days, I still enjoy having it every once in a while.

    Each scoop has 120 calories, 1.5 grams of fat, 3 grams of carbs (1 gram fibre, 2 grams sugar), and 24 grams of protein. The macronutrient profile is solid, and it’s made up of a blend of proteins, including whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate, and whey peptides.

    Mixing it up is easy, and it smells great as soon as you open it, a nice chocolate aroma without being too sweet or overpowering.     Il marchio fino a prova contraria porta sicurezza sulla bontà del prodotto. Quando si trova in offerta la tentazione di far scorta è difficile da trattenere, difatti è il motivo di quest'ultimo acquisto. Il prodotto che mi è arrivato ha 22 mesi di utilizzo prima della scadenza, dunque anche con un utilizzo parsimonioso il tempo a disposizione è abbondante. Le porzioni sono 75 corrispondenti a due mesi e mezzo per l'utilizzo standard, nel mio caso preferisco usarlo solo quando l'apporto proteico della giornata non è sufficiente a raggiungere l'obiettivo ma avendo un "peso piuma" non mi è difficile raggiungerlo, per tanto il contenitore da oltre 2kg può durarmi tranquillamente un anno. Prediligo il prodotto al gusto naturale, mi piace evitare ogni tipo di aroma anche perché non sono così sensibile al gusto che generalmente riesco a farmelo andar bene anche nei casi in cui il sapore non è il plus ultra, nello specifico questo gusto natural non mi pare impossibile da accettare.

    I want to be able to use my proteins in many different dishes so I prefer when there is no added flavour.
    It really doesn't add any flavor! That's great. It makes yogurth slightly runnier but that's it.
