Bought this to replace my more traditional hoover with big secondary caboose - at the time I bought that stick vacuums did not really have anti hair wrap which is a necessity in my household. but nowadays they all do.

In terms of cleaning ability and power it's still perhaps a rung down from a traditional two part hoover - but more than enough for most people's day to day clean. It sucks up copious dust and flecks with no issue, as you would hope, unless your house is seriously soiled this will do the job.

Appearance wise it looks like every other stick vac and follows the same design language as Sharks other hoovers - it looks nice though it is all plastic and not exactly "sleek" but its a hoover, who cares.

It has three buttons, On, Carpet or Smooth floor, and Suction level - can't get much simpler to use than that. All the attachments and connectors use the same press to release mechanism, so it's easy to get parts on or off where needed.

Like all atick vacs you can pull it apart to use as a single handed mini vac, this makes it quite versatile but there's nothing special about this - even with all the attachments off its not terribly small so dont expect to squirrel it away in your car.

I'm overall pretty happy with this vacuum cleaner, and I've compared it to my old Dyson DC40.

Firstly, I gave my front room (old low piled carpet) a good vacuum with my old cleaner, then went over it again with my new Shark model on boost mode. The first two pictures show the difference, which I think speaks for itself.
Weight wise I think it's reasonable, and it's good to steer. I say this because my old cleaner was very difficult to maneuver, and basically needed two hand steering at all times, which was exhausting going through an entire house. It's taken me a bit to get used to the light steering going between my cleaners, but I quite like it and get on with it well now.
The inside of the cleaner is easy to empty, and I like the filter isn't just a cylinder, but pointed, so hair slips right off instead of being stuck.
One downside however is the handle. I find it hard to maintain a good grip of the middle of it, and end up holding it closer to the digital display, because my hand/grip slides. After going over thee rooms this leaves me with close to what I would call a blister, so less ideal. Perhaps someone else would maintain a better grip, but with early arthritis I don't have the strength to do so.
The battery time is quite alright if used on setting 1 or 2 for both hard floor and carpet settings, but runs out fast if left on boost setting. I think this is to be expected, but also not something I do every time I vacuum. It's reasonably fast to recharge either way.

I needed a new vacuum cleaner and my old Dyson was on it's last legs. I needed something lighter and more manoeuvrable, and a bit cheaper. This does the trick. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats. I vacuum round twice a day now because it's so easy. It slides under the furniture so I don't have to keep moving it. No cord means not having to keep unplugging when I run out of length. The stairs are a breeze to clean now, whereas before I'd worry I was going to trip and fall. 1 full charge does the whole house, 2 bedroom terrace, it has great suction but doesn't suck up the rugs. I didn't get the pet hair tool but the brush attachment is great for grabbing hairs and fur off the sofas. Really easy to empty. Cleaned the filter once so far and it was easy to do. Great machine, highly recommend.

I never thought that purchasing an item used to keep my house clean and tidy would bring me so much joy. I have never been able to replace the original Dyson I once had (that was the best hoover I had ever used until this one) and found myself having to buy so many different hoovers over the last 10 years. I've tried them all! Hetty, Henry, VAX, Hoover, those £30 ones you can get from supermarkets - I've tried 'em all! I needed a new hoover as the Vax I had stopped working. I've seen adverts for Shark on TV, and even watched someone on YouTube purchase one so I decided to go for it. THE BEST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE! This hoover is incredible. Using the highest setting, the battery lasts maybe 35-40 minutes, but on the standard setting it does last up to 60 minutes. It came with a Shark branded tote bag, 3 different attachments and a manual. Easy to set up, came with about 75% charge so was ready for use straight from the box. It is simply amazing. Stairs? Easy. That one corner in your room that you've never been able to get to cause every other hoover has weighed a ton? No longer filled with cobwebs. No more switching plugs 4 times so you can do the whole house! Would highly recommend.

Mit dem Artikel wurde ein Netzanschluß geliefert der in keine deutsche Steckdose passt,
außerdem lag eine Bedienungsanleitung in englischer Sprache bei.
Laut der Bestellung lebe ich in Deutschland, also sollte zumindest ein passendes Netzteil geliefert
