The Real-Time Eye AF for both humans and animals works flawlessly, ensuring sharp focus in nearly any situation. For video, the A6700 shines with its ability to shoot 4K at 60fps (100fps with a crop on the image). The addition of 10-bit 4:2:2 internal recording gives me more flexibility in post-production, allowing for colour grading that really brings footage to life and allows me to add my own creative touch. The camera's active stabilisation also helps in producing smooth, steady shots, even when handheld.
Ergonomics and Usability:
The compact body of the A6700 is a joy to use. It’s lightweight yet feels robust and well-built. The grip is comfortable, and the controls are intuitive, the additional wheel on the front is a nice touch. The fully articulating touchscreen is responsive and a great addition for vlogging and composing shots from tricky angles (low down/high up etc).
Battery Life:
Battery life is solid for both photo and video shooting. I can comfortably get through a full day of shooting with a single charge, and the USB-C charging is convenient for on-the-go recharges. Additional batteries are recommended but certainly not the amount with previous models.
