      Many of the oscillating multitools require a chuck to change blades. Less reliable more expensive alternatives don’t include the battery, or charger, or bag! I really wanted to stay with current brand tools (traditionally cheaper) but this was a much better tool for less. This dewalt tool has a quick release lever to release the blade. Additionally, this design holds the blade tightly and won’t strip the pins that secure the blade which has happened in previous corded and battery brands I have used. I have used it to trim aluminum, cut outs for electrical and other custom fit type cuts, detail sanding, easily cut through framing nails, remove exterior gooey caulk. Trim tile. With the right blades, you can do anything.
